Devon, PA – Surgent CPA Review, a premier provider of CPA preparation courses, recently announced the launch of their newest scholarship program. Having already created a rigorous exam review course that guarantees students will pass the CPA exam the first time they take it, Surgent is looking to expand the ways in which they are able to help students and do even more to help aspiring accountants reach their professional goals.
“Our team understands how difficult simply passing the exam to become a licensed certified public accountant can be,” said Liz Kolar of Surgent CPA Review. “It is for this reason that we created what we believe is the best CPA review course out there, and now we want to extend the scope of the assistance we provide to students by opening up a new scholarship opportunity for them. With this idea in mind, we launched the Surgent CPA Student Scholarship, which is specifically designed to provide financial help to any currently-enrolled business student with an aspiration to enter the field of accounting.”
Surgent’s yearly cpa review scholarship is open to any currently-enrolled business students working towards a degree as an accounting major and currently attending an accredited college or university within the United States. Applying for the scholarship requires transcript submission with a minimum 2.8 GPA as well as the submission of an essay on an accounting-related topic specifically outlined by the Surgent CPA Review team. Three winners will be chosen for this scholarship. First prize will receive $1,000, while two runner-ups will each receive $500.
