Surgent CPA Review officially launches

officially-launched

Surgent is proud to officially announced the launch of Surgent CPA Review. This product release represents a major advance for the program, which was formerly called Surgent Kolar CPA Review. In addition to new branding, the program now boasts a new “adaptive learning technology” platform, along with a number of additional new features that are designed to help CPA candidates pass the CPA Exam in far less time.

Surgent CPA Review provides the most current, up-to-date information on all four parts of the CPA Exam: Financial Accounting & Reporting, Auditing & Attestation, Regulation and Business Environment & Concept. All parts of the course are supported with short, topic-targeted video lectures — most between 10 and 20 minutes — taught by such sought-after instructors as Liz Kolar and Jack Surgent.  In addition, the course includes 6,000 multiple-choice questions and 250 task-based simulations to help CPA candidates prepare for the exam.

This new release couples this new course content with truly unique adaptive learning technology. This technology quickly assesses each student’s unique areas of need and automatically creates customized study plans that focus the student precisely where the most help is required — reducing study time, while making the time spent more efficient. The course provides each student with a personalized interactive dashboard, which keeps the student on track throughout his or her study time  based on a number of factors including the software’s assessment of the student’s strengths and weaknesses, the amount of time remaining until the scheduled exam, and the number of hours per week the student has available to study. In addition to high-level progress tracking, the software also provides links to the exact video lectures and study materials each student needs.

The new platform was first released to students who were already using the Surgent Kolar CPA Review platform. Jabulane Ndhlovu, CPA Candidate, said that “The new platform is appealing to my intellect, it makes me to want to study more, and it is motivating. Just by looking at my home page, I know where I am, where to go, and what to do.”

“Our team is very excited to offer CPA Exam candidates a technologically advanced program that we believe will revolutionize how they prepare for the CPA Exam,” said Liz Kolar, Co-Founder and Vice President of Surgent CPA Review. “Our 2015/2016 CPA Review program is an amazing fusion of the first-ever ‘intelligent’ CPA Review program plus 300 highly-engaging videos that were created by a team with over 25 years of experience in the industry.”

To ensure that students are able to study on any device at any time, Surgent CPA Review lectures are mobile friendly — compatible with iPads, tablets, Android devices, and more. View a complete list of features.
